The Student Services Office Assistant is part of the front desk team who welcomes and serves our families. This role provides assistance to the office and administrative team in various ways including transportation of students for late arrival, early dismissal, music lessons, etc. as well as data entry and various other clerical duties.

REPORTS TO:
Elementary Principal + Office Administrator

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

•Strong organizational skills
•Ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize tasks
•Work cooperatively within a team
•Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite and other computer applications

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Help to maintain a welcoming experience at the front desk for our families as they enter the office
•Transport students who arrive to school late
•Transport students who are being picked up for early dismissal
•Input attendance for the elementary and preschool students
•Record attendance daily, and work cooperatively with the Office Specialist on other attendance related matters that are needed for attendance reports
•Transport students to and from music lessons under the direction of the Elementary Principal
•Provide data entry support to the Clinic by entering student medical record information into the school’s Student Information System
•Schedule and book dates for all school photo sessions with the school photographer, including: individual, class, athletic/group, spring and staff photos under the direction of the Elementary Principal
•Schedule the timing of each classroom’s/grade level’s photo sessions under the direction of the Elementary School Principal
•Provide additional assistance to the Elementary School Principal as needed with various other clerical tasks
