This role will work alongside the Pastor of Family Ministries, as he shepherds seven+ ministries, seven staff directly and ten+ staff indirectly. The candidate who will excel in this role will have a unique combination of administrative and social skills. They will be able to manage multiple projects, seeing potential deficiencies and possible solutions. They will also have excellent communication skills, and be able to work on a team with multiple staff and volunteers that report to the Pastor of Family Ministries.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The candidate that will thrive in this role will be organized and flexible, and enjoy bringing clarity and order to processes and ministries. This position requires someone who is a self-starter, personable and able to work with different types of people. They will be able to communicate clearly and effectively in person, on the phone and in emails. They are able to follow-up and follow-through with minimal supervision, and are able to communicate quickly when they need help clarifying or strategizing. They will offer feedback when asked and won’t take feedback personally. They should be willing to learn basic audio and video editing software.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE (but are not limited to):
Administrative Duties:
- Administrative Assistant to Pastor of Family Ministries
- Manage the schedule and calendar for the pastor and joint meetings and events for the Family Ministries department.
- Manage ministry details like communication with other staff related to deadlines, the purchasing of supplies in a timely manner, ensuring processes run smoothly with other departments, and pastors’ reimbursements and receipts.
- Assist pastor with Family Ministries podcast by booking guests.
- Editing and trimming recordings and uploading them for publishing.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 2 to 3 years administrative assistant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Suite
- Strong English grammar and editing skills are required
