The Church Planting and Missions Internship beginning May 2026, offers hands-on experience in
church planting and missions support. This is an in-office, in-person role working 15-20 hours per
week alongside the Director of Church Planting, the Church Planting Coordinator, and the Missions
Director to advance new church initiatives and global outreach.
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
● Perform church planting administrative tasks, including data entry, file management, preparing
reports, and maintaining organized records for ongoing projects
● Collect and organize data to support active church planters in the field, such as tracking
progress metrics, gathering updates from partner churches, and compiling summaries for leadership
review
● Review applications from prospective church plants, verify completeness of submitted materials,
follow up on missing documents, and accurately enter all details into the secure database for
evaluation
● Coordinate short-term missions trips from start to finish, including developing detailed
itineraries, securing travel and lodging, setting timelines, creating budgets, and leading
fundraising efforts through campaigns and donor communications
● Organize group communications via messages, emails, and newsletters to keep teams, volunteers,
and supporters informed, aligned, and engaged throughout planning and execution phases
● Collaborate directly with the Missions Director on trip logistics, participant onboarding,
training sessions, and post-trip debriefs to ensure safety, spiritual impact, and smooth operations
● Update and maintain church planting and missions websites with fresh content, upcoming events,
prayer requests, success stories, and downloadable resources to keep the online presence current
and engaging
● Provide flexible, proactive assistance to the Church Planting Director and Coordinator on ad-hoc
projects, daily operations, meeting preparation, and any emerging needs to support the broader
vision
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
● Available to start in May 2026 for a 10-12 week commitment
● Able to work 15-20 hours per week
● Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen
● Legally authorized to work in the US
● Fully agree with the SRC Statement of Faith
● Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort with databases, websites, and
digital communication tools
● Passion for church planting and global missions
